The agreement between you and the grill
These terms govern your use of austeatsanddrinks.com and the purchases you make through it or with our team. By using the site or confirming a booking, you accept these terms. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is handled, and nothing here overrides your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
01Bookings and confirmations
A booking is confirmed when we issue a confirmation by email or phone. Some experiences, including the Chef's Table and private events, require deposits or full prepayment; the requirement is always stated before you commit. Confirmed times are held for 15 minutes, after which the table may be released.
02Prices, deposits and cancellations
Prices shown on the site are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Deposits and cancellation windows vary by experience and are confirmed at booking.
- Standard table bookings: no deposit, courtesy cancellation appreciated
- Tastings, classes and packages: prepaid, refundable up to 72 hours prior
- Chef's Table and private events: per the terms on your quote
- No-shows may be charged a fee on prepaid experiences
- Prices can change; your confirmation locks the price you paid
03Gift cards and packages
Digital gift cards are valid for three years from purchase and redeemable across dining, bar, tastings and workshops. Celebration packages include one complimentary date change. Cards and packages are not redeemable for cash, cannot be used for gaming, and should be treated like cash: lost codes may not be replaceable.
04Venue rules and conduct
Guests must comply with NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements and The Star Sydney house rules. Entry to gaming areas requires guests to be 18 or older with acceptable photo ID. We reserve the right to refuse service or entry where the law or venue policy requires, and to ask guests to leave whose conduct affects the safety or comfort of others.
05Acceptable use of this site
You agree to use this site lawfully and not to scrape, copy or interfere with its operation, submit false information through our forms, or use the site to distribute harmful content. We may suspend access where misuse is detected.
06Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services evolve. The version published on this page is the current one, and material changes are noted in the updated date above. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
